Emirates ID / Medical Services
ECH has strategic tie-ups with Government authorized medical centres and makes arrangements to get Emirates ID avail medical services for the procurement of Visa.
In UAE it is a legal requirement to carry your Emirates ID with you at all times. The Emirates ID is a "portable personal database" and is a legal requirement for all UAE citizens and residents, including newborn babies.
It is issued by the Emirates Identification Authority (EIDA) & features an electronic chip which contains vital information about the holder like core details, photo and biometric data (finger prints).
The card is used for multiple purposes, such as dealing with phone and internet, paying utility bills, paying fines, and registering vehicles. In time it will also take the place of your debit card and driving license.

To avail new Visa or renew old Visa, medical tests need to be conducted & report submitted. The Government has certified several medical centres to conduct medical tests.
